An Update Has Been Made Regarding the Validity Periods of Biocidal Product Licenses! 

The procedures for the licensing of biocidal products are carried out in accordance with the Biocidal Products Regulation, which was published in the Official Gazette dated December 31, 2009, and numbered 27449 (4th repeated). 

According to the mentioned Regulation, the validity periods of biocidal product licenses arranged were set to expire on December 31, 2021. 

However, as the reasons for the previous approvals related to the extensions have not been resolved, such as the inability to develop software integrated with the Ministry of Environment and Urbanization's Chemical Registration System (KKS) for active substance registration and biocidal product licensing, the inability to achieve sufficient capacity for active substance evaluation, the failure to initiate the active substance registration procedure, and the workload that would arise from the expiration of all biocidal product licenses on the same date, an arrangement has been made regarding the validity period, which was set to December 31, 2021, with the approval dated May 25, 2021, and numbered E-19020089-105.99-2217.
