CHEMLEG Services for Turkey REACH Regulation

Because the Republic of Turkey is a candidate country of the European Union and also for the purpose of controlling the chemicals within Turkey's borders, the EU REACH Legislation has been harmonized with the requirements of Turkish Industry. "Registration, Evaluation, Authorization, and Restriction Of Chemicals”, with the abbreviation of KKDIK, was published by the Ministry of Environment and Urbanization on June 23, 2017, in the Official Gazette No. 30105. KKDIK entered into force on December 23, 2017. KKDIK Regulation contains provisions for chemical substances such as Registration, Restriction, and Permission.

The registration process within the scope of KKDIK will be realized in 2 steps called as Pre-Registration and Registration. After completing of the Pre-Registration Period, the Registration Period will start for the chemical substances.
