The Obligation of the Notification for the Detergents and the Other Cleaning Products has been Repealed.
Details on the Removal of the Relevant Notification Obligation
“Communiqué on the Repeal of the Communiqué on Surfactants Used in Detergents and Detergents” and "Communique on the Repeal of the Production, Imports, Market Surveillance and Control and Statement of Notifications of Cleaning Products Containing Strong Acid or Base" have been published by the Ministry of Customs and Commerce on 27 January 2018, Number 30314.
It was an obligation to notify Detergents and Cleaning Products Containing Strong Acid/ Base to the Ministry of Customs and Trade within the scope of Communiqués dated 2013 and number 28807. The cleaning products evaluated within this scope could be launched to the market after approval of the notifications by the Ministry of Customs and Trade.
The notification obligation has been repealed by the Communiques Number 30314 for Detergents and Cleaning Products Containing Strong Acid/ Base, intended for domestic or industrial use, as of 27 January 2018.
The other provisions which are indicated on the Communiques Number 28807 will be repealed as of 27 July 2018.
Detergents and Cleaning Products Containing Acid/ Base should have Safety Data Sheet and Label. The audits of the products, covered by the Cleaning Products, will be carried out within the scope of KKDIK.
