Update in the EU CLP Regulation (22nd ATP)
About the Update
On September 30, 2024, the delegated CLP Regulation, dated June 19, 2024, and numbered 2024/2564, was published in the Official Journal of the European Union. This regulation is defined as the 22nd ATP (Adaptation to Technical and Scientific Progress) of the EU CLP Regulation.
This update amends Annex VI, Table 3 of the CLP Regulation. In this context, the goal is to remove an entry and introduce 42 new and updated entries for harmonized classification and labelling for relevant stakeholders.
Companies must make the necessary adjustments to comply with the changes by May 1, 2026. After this date, implementation of the Regulation will become mandatory.
Adhering to the 22nd ATP is recommended for companies operating in the European market, as compliance will enhance chemical safety.
