Serap Cift has developed herself with knowledge and experience in the field of translation and interpretation. She successfully graduated from the English Translation and Interpretation department at Abant Izzet Baysal University. During her student years, she showed great interest in written translation and improved herself by working as a freelance and volunteer translator. She conducted research and wrote articles on psycho-linguistics, later translating in the field of psychology. She obtained a Legal Translation Training certificate and currently aims to specialize in various translation areas.

After graduation, she worked in a translation office and provided translation services in various fields. Throughout her translation career, she served as an instructor in the English Speaking Club for foreign students. For approximately two years, she worked at Chemleg Consultancy in the technical department of KKDIK, using the computer-aided translation tool MemoQ to provide translation services. During this time, she performed technical translations of imported chemicals from English to Turkish, ensuring terminology accuracy. Currently, she is involved in pre-translation editing processes and supports the software team.

Serap is proficient in advanced English, has intermediate-level German, and is at a beginner level in Spanish. She possesses strong communication skills and has successfully collaborated on various projects. Serap continuously explores new language learning methods and stays updated on grammar developments. Her curiosity about technology and innovations in the translation field constantly drives her to stay informed about industry developments. Interacting with different cultures and participating in interdisciplinary projects are motivating factors for Serap.
