Raziye Gözde Türker graduated from the Department of Translation and Interpreting at Dokuz Eylül University. In this department, she received training in both English and German translation. During her student years, she provided voluntary foreign language education and worked as a freelance translator. She completed her internship at an airport, focusing on corporate text translation.
In 2018, she achieved second place in a translation competition organized by a translation company, specializing in localization and advertising translation. After graduation, she pursued literary translation and translated various genres of books. Her first translation, "Deccal" (Friedrich Nietzsche), was published by Doğu Batı Yayınları in 2020. She also translated Nietzsche's major work, "Beyond Good and Evil," for the same publisher. Among the authors she translated for different publishing houses are Stefan Zweig from German literature and significant figures in English literature such as Charles Dickens, Virginia Woolf, Arthur Machen, and Stephen Crane.
In addition to English and German, she learned Russian at a beginner's level during her undergraduate studies. Later, through courses, she improved her Russian skills to reach A2 level. She also participated in a Computer Operations course, where she received training in effectively using basic computer programs.
In March 2023, she started working as a translator at Chemleg Consultancy, joining the technical translation teams. She utilizes her free time for language learning and reading books. Whenever possible, she shares her reviews of books and TV shows/movies on her personal blog.
