Ceren CELIK has been working at Chemleg Consultancy since 2020 as a Chemical Assessment Specialist (CAS). She is responsible for KKDIK registration and translation processes, managing the KKDIK Technical Team, and overseeing its activities. She also serves as a Chemical Legislation Expert, focusing on the preparation and technical review of KKDIK/REACH registration dossiers, addressing data requirements, and submitting e-PIC notifications under the PIC Regulation. During her tenure at Chemleg, she has gained significant experience and insights by working as the KKDIK Technical Team Leader on numerous substance registration dossiers.
Between 2020 and 2021, she led the translation project for 25 ECHA guidelines published on the Chemicals Helpdesk website, working alongside a teammate under the Chemleg Technical Team. In 2023, she also spearheaded the Turkish translation of the updated Data Sharing Guideline.
Ceren Çelik holds a degree in Chemical Engineering, having completed her undergraduate studies in Chemical Engineering and her Master's in Polymer Science and Technology at Istanbul Technical University. She has been actively involved in translation work since 2011, boasting extensive experience and fluency in English.
She completed the Safety Assessor training provided by the German Society for Scientific and Applied Cosmetics (DGK), which covers disciplines such as toxicology, metabolism, risk assessment, carcinogenesis, mutagenesis, and microbiology. In 2024, she qualified to receive the DGK Safety Assessor Certificate. This certificate, recognized in many countries worldwide, especially within the European Union Member States, certifies her competency in preparing Cosmetic Product Safety Assessment Reports (CPSAR).
