Burçin Aktaş graduated with honors in 2021 from Istanbul Arel University with a Bachelor's degree in Molecular Biology and Genetics (English). She has specialized in cosmetic and chemical regulatory affairs. During her academic years, she led TÜBİTAK projects and gained experience in international laboratories.

She has actively taken part in the process of bringing cosmetic products to international markets; preparing Product Information Files (PIF), conducting ingredient and labeling compliance checks, and managing application and communication processes with authorities across the USA, Canada, the European Union, the United Kingdom, and the Middle East. She is experienced in managing product notification processes through CPNP, SCPN, and ÜTS portals and coordinating documentation in line with market-specific requirements.

Providing consultancy to over 100 companies, she has ensured compliance with national and international regulations, effectively managing labeling, documentation, and technical file processes. To gain a manufacturer’s perspective, she worked for two years within a cosmetic manufacturing company, taking an active role in both local and international regulatory processes. During this period, she also contributed to product development and market adaptation activities.

Specializing in end-to-end regulatory management, compliance, and technical documentation, Burçin Aktaş has been working as a Chemical Regulatory Affairs Consultant at Chemleg Consultancy.
