Resume

Afra Nur Atasoy graduated from the Department of Chemical Engineering at Marmara University in 2021. During her academic years, she completed her laboratory internship in the Quality Control department of a pharmaceutical company. Additionally, she undertook her production internship in the field of the petroleum industry, working with one of the leading companies in the sector. She participated in a project involving the production of S-ENB polymer from waste sulfur for use in Li-S batteries, aligning with sustainable development goals.

Following that, she completed her production internship through an internship in the soap and detergent industry. Throughout her education, she attended various seminars and training sessions, such as the "Interdisciplinary Artificial Intelligence Studies Symposium" and the "Life Sciences Congress." Afra Nur Atasoy was part of the "Modeling Laboratory" team, engaging in various research activities. She was also involved in the TUBITAK project titled "Removal of Oil Wastes in the Sea with the Developed Hybrid Nanocomposite Material," supported by the industry.

After graduating, in 2021, she started her professional career at Chemleg Consultancy as part of the KKDIK (Turkey REACH) translation team. In 2022, she successfully completed the Chemical Assessment Expertise training, earning the title of Chemical Assessment Expert. Later, she joined the team responsible for preparing Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and provided services in this field.

In the following period, she transitioned to the KKDIK team and currently serves as a Chemical Regulatory Consultant. She is responsible for monitoring all processes required for the production or importation of substances in Turkey in accordance with KKDIK regulations. In this context, she maintains communication with companies for which sole representation is provided and services are offered, providing support in the field of KKDIK.
