The Communique on the Analysis Methods and Laboratories Where Biocidal Product Analysis Can Be Performed has been published

The Communique has been published!

The Regulation on the Amendment of the Biocidal Products Regulation, which determines the procedures and principles regarding the processes of biocidal products, has been published in the Official Gazette dated 30 December 2021 and numbered 31705.

According to the Regulation, the authorized laboratory is defined thus: “Laboratories authorized by the Ministry to conduct biological activity analysis of pest control products in the 3rd main group (Pest Control Products) defined in Annex-V”. It is not possible to authorize laboratories for biocidal products other than pest control products, and national or international accredited results based on parameters will be accepted.

With the amendment made in the Regulation, the provisional application and sealed sampling process have been revoked. The procedure for authorizing laboratories by HSGM has also been revoked. Studies conducted in our country in laboratories accredited by the Turkish Accreditation Agency and accredited test and analysis methods will be accepted.
