Global Chemical Regulation Conference

At the Global Chemical Regulation Conference, hosted by CIRS in London on Thursday, October 5, 2023, leading industry experts and speakers came together to talk about various topics.

One of the issues mentioned was how to prepare for the deadline for KKDIK (Turkey REACH) registration, which worries many companies in Turkey. The addressed points in this context were the registration period, SIEF status, lead registrant and co-registrants for submission, the LoA cost-sharing process, how the lead registrants handle the cost-sharing process, and an overview of the current situation. The speaker who discussed this issue was Elif Koc, one of our managing partners. Another of our managers, Mehmet Yolcu, also attended the conference.

The conference featured many speakers, including Marko Susnik, senior advisor of the Australian Federal Economic Chamber (WKO), and Ian Cranshow from the Chemical Industries Association (CIA). Besides the topic “How to Prepare for KKDIK (Turkey REACH) Registration Deadline”, many other topics were discussed such as K-REACH ve K-BPR practices in South Korea and chemical management regulations in China.
