About the Seminar 

We, as Chemleg Consultancy, participated in the seminar organized by the Istanbul Chamber of Industry for the rubber industry, held on April 18-19, 2024. The seminar titled "Compliance with Global Regulations, Local Conditions, and Sustainability in the Rubber Industry" was represented on behalf of our company by Haydar Hazer.

Haydar Hazer, a chemical assessment expert with years of experience providing CAE training within Chemleg, discussed the current developments, specifically the KKDIK (Turkey REACH) Regulation and its applications during the seminar. This seminar was planned to be conducted simultaneously with the 11th Rubber Technologies, Rubber Products, and Raw Materials Fair.

The seminar, attended by notable figures from the industry, also planned to cover topics such as opportunities and risks related to the Green Deal, the regulation on preventing deforestation and its effects, and the importance of corporate carbon footprint calculation for the industry.
