Melisa Demirbaş completed her high school education in the Database Programming department of Tuzla Anatolian Technical and Industrial Vocational High School. Afterward, she continued her education in the English Language and Literature department at Kocaeli University. During her undergraduate studies, she received language education in German and French, and also learned literary translation theories, actively engaging in literary translation. Throughout her undergraduate education, she worked in the sales and service sectors, enhancing her interpersonal skills.

After graduating, she started working as a translator at CHEMLEG Consultancy, where she took on responsibilities for translating KKDIK (Turkey REACH) dossiers. Following this period, she transitioned to the position of technical team leader for KKDIK dossiers’ translation. Using her language skills, leadership abilities, and communication proficiency, she managed the translation team with great precision. She ensured team cohesion and effective communication in projects. While leading the team, she continued to contribute to translations and specialized in the MemoQ translation services application, a leading computer-aided translation tool. She also played a role in expanding terminology and organizing the translation memory. Melisa was responsible for the organization of translation files and ensured their timely and accurate delivery. Additionally, she improved her knowledge and skills in chemical regulations during this process.

Melisa is an individual open to learning and self-improvement. Due to her constant efforts to renew herself, she not only becomes a valuable team member for her personal development but also contributes to the success of those around her. This attitude reflects not only her own potential but also her goal of contributing to the achievements of people in her surroundings.
